Who are you?
I’m a visual artist working with my computer . I’m trying to create virtual feelings more realistic than real feelings.
What gives you the most joy?
Being in my bubble with the people I chose to be with.
How did you find yourself?
I’m still trying to find myself. But I found myself largely in art. In the books I've read, the movies I've seen. I am a patchwork of people and works that I admire.
Do you have a real-life situation that inspired your work?
My work is inspired by my real life. Especially my feelings that i can’t put into words.
What makes you angry?
A lot of things, but right now I think it would be our French Government, which encourages and contributes to increase social injustice and jeopardize our fundamental rights. I am angry and scared.
What is the strangest situation that happened to you?
Being 13 year old involved in a film project, thinking that I was going to be an actor. But it was a scam.
What do you think about the interpretation of art? Do you want your art to be interpreted?
I think art must live by the experience of each person. I don't like the idea of the single interpretation. I prefer my art to live and be experienced.
What do you think of the Susan Sontag’s phrase: ”In place of a hermeneutics we need an erotics of art”?
I agree with this. Art has to make us feel. Feelings and emotions are the key to create memory and reconnect with our true self. Sensitive art is accessible art.
What would be your perfect environment for making art?
A quiet place, with nature and my friends.
What is your dream project?
I’m currently working on the development of a VR experience based on the universe of the visuals i’m creating for my instagram. I think it is my dream project for now.
What is your favorite place that inspires you the most?
Lisbon is a city that inspires me a lot. Portugal is the country of my grandparents. I feel complete when i’m there.
What jobs have you done other than being an artist?
My first summer job was to lay tar on the road. When I was a student I used to hand out flyers and goodies on the street. And I worked as a community manager for a film festival.
What are your favorite books/movies/persons?
The first books that come to my mind are Les Justes by Albert Camus, Le livre de l'intranquillité by Fernando Pessoa. Some of my favorite films are Suspiria by Dario Argento, Persona by Ingmar Bergman, Salo ou les 120 journées de sodome by Pier Paolo Pasolini , Des temps et des vents by Reha Erdem and Hiroshima mon amour by Alain Resnais. My favorite persons are Agnes Varda and Steven Universe
How did you learn 3D modeling?
I learn 3D at school, ATI ( Arts and Technologies of Image ) in Paris 8 University.
What kind of people inspire you?
People who speak for themselves, who are not afraid to live their emotions and impose them on others.
